Can true Zombie-Love triumph? The third installment in the popular ROTLD franchise is arguably the weakest of the three but stands bloodied head and gnawed shoulders above many lesser efforts. Essentially an Undead Romeo and Juliet, there are couple of memorable scenes (on particular the heroine’s tribute to punk body-art with some teeth-clenching piecings…).

Goldberg’s score is a stand-out effort (and influence upon Eflman’s score to “Planet of the Apes” ?!?), mixing tense electro-orchestral tracks with fine dark moments. Essential!
