The King LIVES!
Coscarelli’s wonderful screen adaptation of Joe R. Lansdale’s novella requires no introduction to genre buffs. The brilliant score from Brian Tyler (this guy is cranking out the tunez for contemporary supernatural cinema, including Terror Tract, Vampires: Los Muertos, Darkness Falls, Children Of Dune, Godsend, etc.) is one of his best to date. While there are some very evocative, orchestral/electronic underscores, the GUITAR is the thing here, in all its glory! We got Surf Guitar, Spaghetti Western Guitar, C & W Guitar, Trailer park Blues Guitar, even Heavy Metal Guitar – a fitting musical tribute indeed to the King!
This limited Signature Edition Bubba Ho-tep Soundtrack, autographed by both the Director, Don Coscarelli and composer, Brian Tyler, contains the amazing score to the highly regarded film starring horror-icon Bruce Campbell and the legendary Ossie Davis. Included is an 8-page full color foldout booklet containing notes from both composer and director.
