Kagen no Tsuki, also known as Last Quarter, is a 3-volume manga by Ai Yazawa, a shoujo artist better known outside Japan for her work on Gokinjo Monogatari, Paradise Kiss and Nana. Part ghost story, part mystery, part love story and childhood memory, Kagen no Tsuki features the considerable talents of the highly watchable Chiaki Kuriyama (pant-pant) and a cameo from J-Pop idol, HYDE. The score effectively captures the atmosphere of loss and melancholy and predictably has a track from HYDE in the bargain. Whereas a lot of CDs are soundtracks for your nightmares, this one is better suited for your daydreams.
