ALESSANDRONI-WIZARD OF SOUND

This collection features a number of Alessandroni rarities from the '60s including several very rare sessions with singers. Assorted musical exotica and novelties were an Alessandroni specialty; the Electric Harpsichord in Skyliner (track 1), the Sitar - of which Alessandroni owned the only playable instrument in Italy - on The Tree Meditation (track 8) and De Masi's India (track 22), Harmonica, used in a very un-Spaghetti Western manner on Visa to the Stars (track 10), the Electric Piano, featured as a solo instrument on all three of the funky Riffs (tracks 13, 19 and 21) and of course his trademark whistle on Thinking of You (track 15) are but a few of the treasures to be found here.
