Unusual Giallo/thriller set in Cold War era Prague about a reporter found and pronounced dead, yet still alive and unable to move or speak. The film follows the web of crime, vice, romance and action that led to his "accident." Jean Sorel, Ingrid Thulin and a pre-Dukes of Hazard Barbara Bach star.

Morricone’s edgy, experimental score (that will either delight fans of the extreme Avant Garde…) features angular writing for strings, female aspirations and moans(courtesy of Edda Dell’Orso) and heart-bear ostinatos. All flanked by two trademark bittersweet waltzes. Euro-Horror at its zenith.
