From the folks at GDM comes this newly re-packaged version of the Definitive Edition of Morricone's soundtrack to Tonino Valerii & Sergio Leone's touching western starring Terence Hill and Henry Fonda.

It appears that with his score for NESSUNO that Morricone and Leone entered a new phase of their collaboration, as the score takes perverse delight in turning Spaghetti Western soundtrack conventions on their head. Despie that fact (or perhaps BECAUSE of it…) there is a lot of great Western music here. "Mucchio Selvaggio" is a tour de force, incorporating Wagner's "Flight of the Valkaries" on out of tune trumpets. "Se Sei Qualcuno E 'Colpa Mia" is in the "man with harmonica" mold with a build-up blasting into the electric guitar chorus.

This is the Definitive Edition and contains alternate themes from the movie and also material that was rejected from the final cut.
