Schwabing Affairs Various Artists

Following the success of “St. Pauli Affairs”, this latest collection from Diggler takes it's title from the Schwabing district of Munich (locus of the German Love Children in the late 60's). Film makers were quick to exploit the titilatory potential of the setting, often employing some of the locals in their creations.

Schwabing Affairs is a compilation of groovy and easy tunes taken from the soundtracks of the movies being produced there in the 60's and 70's. Some familiar names are here – Peter Thomas, Martin Böttcher et al – but also some real treasures from the vault, such as the tracks from David Llywelyn, founding member of Supertramp.There's tracks from movies such as Engelchen Macht Weiter Hoppe, Hoppe Reiter (Up The Establishment!), Der Kerl Liebt Mich und Das Soil ich Glauben?, Mädchen, Mädchen (Girls, Girls), Bengelchen Liebt Kreuz und Quer (24-Hour Lover), Jet Generation (How Girls Love Men of Today) and more.
