The movie from 1967, also known as Orbita mortal or You Only Live Once was a first
attempt to bring the international phenomenon Perry Rhodan onto the screen.
The title melody was composed by Marcello Giombini. Together with the renowned
vocal collaboraters of Ennio Morricone: soloist Edda Dell'Orso and Alessandro
Alessandroni’s Orchestra and Choir, I Cantori Moderni. Giombini scored several
Spaghetti-Westerns, thrillers and erotic movies in the 60s and 70s
A short plot outline of this sci-fi-tour-de-trash: A team of astronauts is sent to
the moon to rescue an alien who is seeking help to save her dying race. They are
attacked by a force of bandit robots and discover that enemy spies are out to kill the alien.
